About: artsXR

artsXR is an immersive production studio, by artists, designers and co-founders:
Kristina Thiele, Alejandro Escobar and Chris Follows.

We are a designer artist trio, based in London UK specialising in creating immersive webXR environments, each with 2 decades of experience in the creative industry.

Kristina, Alejandro and Chris met in 2016 at UAL Chelsea College of Arts through the Digital Maker Collective (DMC), an informal creative tech Research and Development network.

Arts XR is an immersive production studio working at the intersection of art, fashion and technology. Primarily started as a company to enable artists and clients to realise and build metaverse worlds, it soon transpired that the scope had to be widened to include crypto, nfts and web3 . ArtsXR consults artists, innovative businesses and galleries to pass the threshold of crypto and transform analogue creative processes to be compatible with digital on chain technology. Furthermore, as educators artsXR strives to broaden knowledge exchange between art and technology to bridge the intersection.

Through their work with the DMC and Tate Exchange artsXR discovered that there is an increasing demand from creatives for ‘Immersive Solutions for the Arts’, as most content creators are not coming from an arts background. Being artists and designers themselves, all three co founders know how important it is to challenge existing aesthetic parameters set by developers outside the artistic context in creating a visual language embraced by artists and technologists equally.

artsXR offer bespoke creative solutions for the arts, XR content production across all immersive workflows, from pre-production to full conception, consultancy, planning and delivery.
