artsXR in residence at Beaconsfield Gallery

In Summer 2021 artsXR embarked on an exciting collaboration with artist Jin Han Lee at London's leading contemporary art Gallery Beaconsfield, London. B_T6: Extended Realities is the sixth in the series Beacon_Transitions: a lockdown experiment wherein a virtual portal is opened by Beaconsfield for artists to explore in conjunction with the physical site.

Lee an artist residence in Beaconsfield’s Upper Gallery space to make new paintings and–in the same time frame–explore the possibilities offered by immersive online environments in creative collaboration with artsXR testing and demystifying aspects of extended realities whilst investigating perspectives on arts practice in the metaverse.

Matterlurgy Collaboration
