Responsive Fashion Institute: Commissions

Responsive Fashion Institute commissioned artsXR to create a new immersive environment: PhyberFashion XR.

This digital fashion space pushes technological boundaries to harness digital innovation as a real force for good, exploring a new environment for digital fashion that is both innovative and environmentally conscious. The Responsive Fashion Institute created the framework to develop the virtual PhyberFashion XR space based on planet- and human-centered design, as well as speculative design methods. The project‘s objective was to enable the user to imagine and experience digital fashion products that go beyond what currently exists in the physical world. This is leading to truly innovative boundaries and pushing digital products and services that challenge the status quo and inspire new ways of thinking about fashion and sustainability.

The Responsive Fashion Institute is a company that focuses on advancing innovative and sustainable fashion practices and advising fashion companies to enter the digital space. Their commissioning of PhyberFashion XR is proof that they see the potential for the project to make a meaningful contribution to the future of the fashion industry.

The project involved the development of a prototype to implement and offer new digital fashion products and services in a virtual space, known as the fashion metaverse. The metaverse is a term used to describe a collective virtual shared space that is created by the convergence of physical and virtual reality.

The realisation of projects between ArtsXR and the Responsive Fashion Institute and the development of PhyberFashion XR highlights the importance of cross-disciplinary collaborations in creating truly innovative and sustainable solutions for the future of fashion.
